New Flag at the Club

Updated: May 30, 2020

Despite the challenging situation in LLHOA, things are changing at Lake Lindero Homeowners Association and the Country Club.

A Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) is in place that prevents Christopher T. Barone, a former HOA employee, from coming to the club, conducting further destruction and dismantling of the country club. However, Judith(Judee) Catherine White, a former HOA employee, and a couple of Barone supporters continue to show up at the club bullying, threatening, intimidating club employees and illegally collecting the cash generated from the business operation at the club. In their desperate move to pocket any income from the club, Judee White stole the cash drawer from the premise on the evening of Jan 23rd. The theft was reported to the Sheriffs' department, a complaint filed and an investigation will be conducted.

A lawsuit was filed on Jan. 21st by the New Board against Christopher T. Barone, Mike Umann, Paul Bromley and Dave DiNapoli seeking court validation of the recall election results. This gives hope that the unlawful actions by the three members of the recalled Board Umann-Bromly-DiNapoli and the two

former employees Barone-White will come to an end once and for all in the near future.

Also, the New Board voted to rescind the approval by the recalled Board that LLHOA pays Christopher T. Barone's legal bills.

As part of the new Board’s efforts to restore the integrity and appearance of the club, a small step was taken on Jan. 24th when a new Flag of the United States of America was raised on the flagpole located between the parking lot and putting green.

Until Jan. 24th, the stars and stripes that greeted the public and LLHOA community was in sorry shape. Faded, tattered, and torn, the old flag symbolized neglect under the mismanagement by the recalled Board and the former CEO.

The new Board replaced the ragged old banner with a fresh, bright, and new one.

The new flag heralds the positive changes coming to LLHOA.

No GPL repeat
Feb 09, 2020

It’s a life lesson most people learn as children from tales like the boy who cried wolf. If you keep repeating a certain behavior - stealing, lying, violence etc - then when that occurs, you might get the blame the ONE time it isn’t you. If you are getting the blame for the ONE time it isn’t you, ‘Queen’, it’s because a pattern of conduct has been established. The ONLY person to blame is the person responsible for their own pattern of violent conduct. It’s purely his own fault if, when there’s violence, he’s the first person that comes to mind. (Closely followed by someone you might be close to, a Mr Immaturo). Maybe they didn’t get quality parenting, and…

Bit confused by your response.

“no GPL1 my comment was about the behavior of a few who are trying to destroy the club area doing very petty things that affect people who want to use the facilities.”

As I asked was it directed at all or a few:

“So, the questions are, was it directed at those who partake in the acts? Or were you addressing those who discuss those juvenile acts on this forum?”

You seem to have clarified that you were addressing to those who were doing the acts.

Then you state:

“In terms of our reputation being rebuilt we can all do that when we speak about what is happening, on ND and on here as…

Yes Barone smiled and mocked all of that, waiting for the police report to be released.

At the time, he was managing the club and responsible for managing pr, public facing image and protecting its reputation.

Instead of putting out the fire of rumors, he flamed them and took enjoyment out of the rumors growing as the reputation of the club continued to swirl down the drain.

His own gleeful victory of being able to prove that the rumors were wrong was more important to him than stopping them immediately and protecting the club’s reputation.

He then continued to damage or “gate” the club to death. Here are a few examples: golfball-gate, flyer-gate, board member-gate, legal committe-gate, lawsuits-gate, tros-gate…

In terms of our reputation being rebuilt we can all do that when we speak about what is happening, on ND and on here as well as to people who are just asking. We have issues we are addressing. ideally more will be addressed after the hearing on Feb 19th

In the mean time I am so grateful to all the neighbors who are talking about the positive. I have gotten to know people I never would…
