Intimidation & Harassment Lawsuits by Christopher T. Barone, Mike Umann & Judee White, based on the information from this site.
From this chart it appears that they see filing lawsuits not winning them as a tool of intimidation and harassment to be used on members, the management company, employees and their families. Since Mike Umann was the President of the recalled Board, any lawsuit filed before the recall on behalf of LLHOA would have required either authorization by him or him signing the paperwork.

Have a Nice Day - I agree, it’s the right thing to do. I’m sure he will do the right thing and pay her fees.
This is getting sad. He has kids and has put them at risk by acting out like this. His financial bandwidth is not that deep.
If Barone truly is the stand up man as gogolf sees him, he should bail Judee White out for her legal fees as a reward for her loyalty.
Presumably any loss from the Marco suit, the HOA could seek in a separate lawsuit claim against Barron?
It’s called a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation and designed to saddle people with costly lawsuits as a means of harassment. Not a smart one minute chess move when your state has anti SLAPP legislation. Both White and Barron face very costly legal fees from the defendants. Luckily he’ll have the ‘millions’ he claims he will win from the HOA, so he’s collectible. That, and his rental home in West Hills. I’m sure Barron will bail White out for her fees too, she’s been so loyal after all.
